Serious effort.”Serious Simplicity” is a statement that I like to make to indicate that simplicity is important and should be taken seriously… not just in a nice-to-have attitude but in a way that makes simplicity an integral part of any project, product or application.The idea for Serious Simplicity comes about from Edward de Bono’s use of the phrase “Serious Creativity” by which he seeks to explain (in a number of books) why, and how, creativity can be taken seriously and achieved deliberately.
